Once verified you can delete the original folder or share the new folder as you choose. For the love of GOD, Dropbox, please give people the ability to unshare all subfolders below a particular folder. While you're at it, give people the ability to unshare all folders with a particular user—because sometimes you just have to kick someone out of your organization.
