For me, this option failed after step 6, with macOS refusing to delete and archive the account. I moved on to try to the next option. Again, this failed for me. Disk Utility was unable to create the disk image, so I proceeded to the next option. I thought perhaps the user directory could simply be copied over, bypassing the archive and disk image states.
